Agnes Winifred was the first child and daughter of Georgii Forbes and Alice Livingston. She was born on Christmas Day in 1905 in Georgetown, Guyana.
At birth she was given the name Agnes Winifred Forbes, but later took her mother’s last name of Livingston.

Agnes had one sibling; a brother named Ludovicus Forbes who was born on September 13, 1907.

Agnes was a mother to seven children, which was a full-time job.
Personal life
Agnes married Basil Mathias and had four children. These children’s names were Carl, Maurice, Jean, and Sybil. When he passed away in 1936, she married George Lord and had four children, one of which died as an infant. The children’s names were Dennis, Patricia, and Barbara. It is believed that the infant who passed away was named Gordon. After George passed away on July 1, 1954, she raised the children and grandchildren until her death on May 18, 1970.
